About Me
My journey into mental health began over 20 years ago as a Registered Nurse, driven by a passion for supporting people through life’s most difficult moments. Early in my career, I worked as a psychiatric nurse supporting individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. It was there that I learned the importance of meeting people with empathy, compassion, and dignity.
Later I transfered into public health, supporting families and school-aged children by promoting mental wellness.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable and challenging moments, and throughout it all, I have always led with compassion, curiosity, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to heal.
My passion for mental wellness, along with my own lived experience with trauma and neurodivergence, inspired me to further my education and deepen my ability to support others in a more specialized way. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, allowing me to provide more focused, trauma-informed care for individuals navigating trauma, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns.
My commitment to helping others has also been shaped by a strong passion for continued education and professional growth. In addition to my Master’s degree, I have pursued advanced certifications and specialized training to deepen my knowledge and ensure I can offer evidence-based, effective, and compassionate care. I believe learning is an ongoing process, and I remain committed to continually expanding my skills so I can better support the unique needs of the individuals I work with.
Today, I bring together over two decades of nursing experience, advanced counselling training, specialized certifications, and lived experience to offer a whole-person, mind-body approach to healing. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in safe, compassionate relationships. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you move toward greater balance, understanding, and wellness.
